BACKGROUND
This Terms of Use Agreement ("CONTRACT") is a legally binding agreement between you ("STUDENT") and Drive Safe Driving School ("COMPANY"). By clicking "Accept" and enrolling in the Adult Drivers Education course, STUDENT agrees to be bound by the terms of this CONTRACT and all applicable Texas laws and TDLR regulations.

COURSE ELIGIBILITY
The Adult Drivers Education course is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older who wish to obtain a Texas driver license or fulfill the education requirement for a first-time license. Applicants under 25 who have never held a Texas driver license must complete this course before obtaining a license.
Upon successful completion, STUDENT will receive a Certificate of Completion (DE-964) as required by TDLR and the Texas DPS. This certificate is required when applying for a driver license at a Texas DPS office.
SECURITY AND VALIDATION POLICY
As required by TDLR rules, this course contains identity-verification and validation mechanisms. STUDENT acknowledges that:
- 1.It is illegal to attempt to circumvent this course;
- 2.Circumvention includes, but is not limited to, having any person other than the registered STUDENT participate in the course; and
- 3.Any attempt to circumvent the course may result in loss of the Certificate of Completion, criminal penalties under Texas law, and forfeiture of all fees.
Misrepresenting identity to obtain a state-approved certificate may constitute perjury under Texas Penal Code §37.02, which is a Class A Misdemeanor or higher depending on the nature of the false statement.
TUITION AND FEES
The total cost of the course is stated at the time of enrollment. Drive Safe Driving School reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time, provided that such changes do not affect existing paid enrollments.
COURSE SCHEDULE AND ACCESS
The online course is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week following receipt of payment ("COURSE START"). STUDENT must complete the course within 180 days of COURSE START. Access requires a compatible device (iOS, Android, or desktop browser) with a reliable internet connection. STUDENT is solely responsible for providing the necessary equipment and connectivity.
If STUDENT cannot access the course due to a fault of Drive Safe Driving School, STUDENT must contact us at (214) 310-5000 or support@drivesafedrivingschool.com. Drive Safe Driving School will extend the completion deadline by the period of confirmed unavailability.
COURSE COMPLETION AND CERTIFICATE ISSUANCE
To receive a Certificate of Completion (DE-964), STUDENT must:
- 1.Complete all required lessons and modules;
- 2.Pass all quizzes with a minimum score of 70%;
- 3.Pass the final course examination with a minimum score of 70%; and
- 4.Satisfy all identity-validation requirements as mandated by TDLR.
STUDENT acknowledges that they will be the sole person completing all coursework and examinations. The use of unauthorized assistance is strictly prohibited and constitutes grounds for immediate course termination without refund.
If STUDENT does not receive their Certificate of Completion within 10 business days of course completion, STUDENT must contact Drive Safe Driving School within 30 days to request a replacement. A replacement certificate fee of $10 may apply, except where the original was not received or was damaged due to no fault of STUDENT.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Per TDLR rules and Texas Education Code §1001.455, STUDENT may cancel enrollment and receive a full refund within 30 days of purchase, provided that STUDENT has not completed the course or received a failing grade.
To cancel, contact Drive Safe Driving School at support@drivesafedrivingschool.com. Refunds are processed within 15 business days of cancellation confirmation. Purchases through the Apple App Store are refunded through Apple. Purchases through the Google Play Store are refunded through Google.
STUDENT REGISTRATION
STUDENT agrees to provide accurate and complete registration information. STUDENT certifies they are at least 18 years of age, or if under 18, that their legal guardian has reviewed and consented to this CONTRACT. Drive Safe Driving School may suspend or terminate access if any registration information is found to be false or incomplete.
PRIVACY AND DATA USE
Drive Safe Driving School collects and processes STUDENT personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. By accepting this CONTRACT, STUDENT consents to Drive Safe Driving School accessing third-party databases, including driver license and DMV records, solely for identity verification and fraud prevention purposes as permitted by applicable law.
GOVERNING LAW
This CONTRACT is governed by Texas law. Any dispute not subject to arbitration shall be resolved in the appropriate state or federal court in Texas.
